Two paths to radiance: understanding our chain materials
At the heart of our collections lies a commitment to quality, beauty, and longevity. Whether you're drawn to the rich glow of 24k gold or the sleek resilience of stainless steel, every piece is designed to be worn with love — and made to last.
24k Gold-Plated Brass: Timeless Warmth, Thick Durability
Our 24k gold-plated pieces are crafted on a brass base and finished with a thick layer of pure gold. This high-karat plating offers a rich, warm tone and exceptional durability. With proper care, these pieces can last a lifetime — aging gracefully and retaining their golden glow.
Why it lasts: Thick 24k gold plating, high-karat purity
Nickel and lead free: these are the two chemicals that usually cause allergies in people. The products are plated with 24k gold, so the first material that comes into contact with the skin is pure gold. Unless the plating is still intact, no allergic reactions should occur. However, if the plating fades, the base metal, which is brass, will be exposed, and some people have allergies to brass. In any case, we have never had any complaints from clients about our products causing allergies. They are usually so happy as they are not suffering from any allergies.
Care tip: Avoid water and chemicals to preserve the plating’s richness. If exposed to water, rinse with fresh water and dry before storing.
316L Stainless Steel with PVD Plating: Modern Strength, Everyday Ease
This material is offered in our stainless steel necklaces. They are made from 316L stainless steel — a premium grade known for its strength, hypoallergenic properties, and resistance to tarnish. Each piece is finished with advanced PVD plating: 18k gold for our gold-tone styles, and rhodium for our silver-tone pieces. This technique bonds the plating to the metal for long-term durability, making it waterproof and ideal for daily wear.
Why it lasts: PVD technology + 316L stainless steel
Nickel and lead free: we do not like to state that the product is hypoallergenic as this would mean that the material is compatible with every human being, and that is hard to prove. However, 316L stainless steel is the material used in bio-medicine, and so it is very unlikely that such a material will cause any allergies.
Care tip: Wipe gently after wear to keep it radiant
What Is PVD Plating?
PVD stands for Physical Vapor Deposition — a modern, high-tech plating method that bonds metal coatings to the surface of jewellery using vaporized particles in a vacuum chamber. Unlike traditional electroplating, PVD creates a durable, scratch-resistant finish that’s more resistant to fading, tarnishing, and wear.
In our stainless steel pieces:
Gold-tone styles are plated with 18k gold
Silver-tone styles are plated with rhodium, a rare and highly reflective metal
Why we love it: PVD plating gives our jewellery a luxurious look with everyday strength. It’s waterproof, hypoallergenic, and designed to stay radiant — even with frequent wear.
Why We Use 304 Stainless Steel in Earring Posts
Comfort and safety are just as important as style — especially when it comes to earrings. That’s why we use 304 stainless steel in select earring posts and hoop closures. This material is known for its excellent biocompatibility, making it highly unlikely to cause allergic reactions, even for sensitive ears.
Whether you're choosing delicate studs or bold hoops, you can wear them with confidence — knowing they’re crafted with care and comfort in mind.
Jewellery Care: A Love Letter to Longevity
Every order includes a care guide — a gentle reminder that your jewellery deserves a little extra love. Here’s a glimpse:
Wear with Love, Handle with Care Let your jewellery be the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off. Avoid contact with water, perfumes, lotions, and cleaning products.
Clean Gently Wipe with a soft, dry cloth after each wear. For deeper cleaning, use lukewarm water with a drop of mild soap. Pat dry — never rub. Floral pieces can be cleaned with a soft brush and dried with a hairdryer.
A Little Extra Love Avoid polishing cloths meant for solid gold or silver — they may strip the plating. With proper care, your jewellery will stay radiant for years to come.
Store Smart Keep pieces in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Store separately in a soft pouch or box. Avoid sealable plastic bags, which can accelerate deterioration.
